First, we've got to understand that saying "yes" to something means saying "no" to something else. We make these choices subconsciously sometimes so let's get on top of it!
Karen teaches us how to identify our high value activities and how to eliminate our low value activities. Her process for assessing our time commitments is fantastic!
It's true: there are certain things that only you can do. For Karen those things are that she wants to do her own client outreach and she also really values being the one who gets to drive her kids to school and talk to them in the car.
The other things... let's streamline the other things.
Hiring services to help you, especially in the busy season, may seem like an unnecessary expense, but stop to consider whether you can actually recoup the income working at what you do best! Cooking, cleaning, laundry and landscaping are a few examples. If you can't afford it in your business right now, find routines around these activities and you'll still add efficiency to your day!
This next tip is the real deal: Clean out your closet! You'll save so much time getting ready in the morning if your closet is full of clothes that fit and look good as opposed to having all of your favorite articles hidden under other things.
Another great trick is to use recurring timers and alarms on your phone to help you unburden your brain from constantly watching the clock and trying to remember everything.
