There is room for every good, hard-working agent in the real estate industry. That's what we love about it! There are plenty of transactions to go around; you just have to get your name out there.

 

Karen encourages the use of free social media and other low-cost options like postcards, flyers and brochures.

Postcards

Here's the thing: yes, they'll probably throw the postcard away, but at least they'll see your name and face, if however briefly, to remind them of you. Karen uses My Marketing Matters for her postcards.

 

Flyers and Brochures

For any listing or open house, the first batch of flyers you go through will be snatched up by the neighbors. And that is totally fine with us! They are seeing your beautiful work and seeing your name.

 

Other creative ideas are to do joint offers and promotions with vendors and to keep working the rental market. Working with renters essentially means getting paid to practice your craft.

 

In real estate, honestly, it’s more cost effective to be all in. So as you work toward meeting your transaction goals, just know that your cost-per-use is going to get better.
